This asset is a list of action items for the perfect web design process. I have divided the process into six phases: sales, discovery, design, development, publishing, and maintenance. In the sales phase, I discuss tactics such as cold calling, inbound marketing, networking, and outsourced sales. The discovery phase involves asking questions, setting goals, determining scope, scheduling, and understanding the client's business, industry, and preferences. The design phase covers keyword research, mapping content, wireframing, visual design, navigation design, copywriting, and prototyping. The development phase includes platform selection, setting up development environments, creating repeating elements, CMS features, interactions, image optimization, and importing old content. The publishing phase focuses on content check, site map creation, backups, accessibility and performance checks, SEO, client confirmation, redirects, subscription and domain purchases, publication, post-release testing, and documentation. Finally, the maintenance phase involves website walkthroughs, final updates, backups, security, analytics monitoring, content updates, and periodic reviews.

Check the video for a comprehensive overview of each phase, highlighting key activities and considerations throughout the web design process. I emphasiz the importance of understanding clients' needs, creating engaging designs, and ensuring a smooth transition from development to publishing. This asset is a valuable resource for anyone looking to optimize their web design process.
